6 Ways to Add Spirulina to Breakfast


Finding ways to incorporate your superfoods into your daily routine can sometimes be one of the most difficult parts about using them.  We love taking our superfoods first thing in the morning to get the day started right: feeling good and giving our bodies what they need to power us through a busy day.  Spirulina is rich in color but shouldn’t have too strong of a flavor so adding a serving to your breakfast is a great way to get your daily dose on the go!

  • Smoothies

  • Sneaking spirulina (or any superfood for that matter) into a breakfast smoothie is one of the easiest ways to get your fix and mask any unwanted flavor.  Check out this dangerously delicious breakfast smoothie for ideas!

     


  • Energy balls

  • This one takes a bit more preparation, but with a little forethought,
    you can make a tray of energy balls to last you the entire week that
    include all of your favorite energy boosters and superfoods.  Here is

  • Scrambled Eggs

  • Dr.Seuss had it all wrong...we love green eggs!  It’s so easy to
    add a dash of spirulina to your morning scramble.  Don’t be
    shy, give it a try! (so much for our Dr.Seuss rhyming skills)

     


  • Sprinkle on fruit salad
